An example of a podcast

As mentioned in the earlier message i tried uploading the podcast on adjectives but was unsuccessful.I will email the podcast to Jessie so that she will send it to all of you.

Yeap, although I don't work with the lower primary personally, I can feel the effect due to the lack of practice at middle primary. Do they have a curriculum to complete at kindergarden level? Anyone thought of doing early childhood?.. =)

Paradigm Shift

One of our tutors talked about a paradigm shift. According to him, the system should also channel highly-qualified teachers to the kindergarten levels, because children at that age are most receptive to learning. When at foundation level they don't get it right, teachers at higher levels have to do a lot of damage-control.

I've already had a tough time correcting my P1s' pronunciation, especially the word 'their'.

Habits form over time. So work that tongue, people!

What are you doing to prepare yourself for the youth olympic?
The whole of China is learning English to be able to serve the thousands who will be visiting China for the first time. Its a really funny show but at the same time, it shows their determination to get the language right. It is not worth $9.50 though. Go watch it on a weekday to save some bucks. =)
